We believe that homeschoolers thrive in community.
We try to provide opportunities for our families to interact and share experiences with each other. Many students develop lifelong friends with similar beliefs and values in these groups. Many of our families find this community in neighborhood support groups. Links to some of these groups can be found on the resource page.

We typically have two field trip opportunities each month. These have included trips to the zoo, SeaWorld, the court house, whale watching, flower fields, working farms, and much, much more. Our field trip coordinators work hard to provide experiences for all age groups, and to keep the prices accessible. Please check the current newsletter for information on the upcoming events.

Grace Christian Schools sports teams are another great way for our students to build friendships. We support teams for both boys and girls including: basketball, volleyball, and flag football. We play in a small league with other homeschoolers and small private school teams. Call the school if you are interested in playing on our teams. Independent homeschoolers are welcome to join in.

We have a few families that are working to start up a national chapter of the Home School Honor Society. We hope to have a few community events planned for the year. Watch the Honor Society page for information as it develops.

We are happy to promote game days, picnics, and senior events. These activities depend on parent involvement. If you are interested in hosting an event, give us a call and we will do what we can to spread the word.
