- Require challenging classes for college preparation.
- Get a tutor for your student to strengthen any weak academic areas.
- Allow your young adult to explore different careers through research.
- Encourage your teens to ask relatives/friends about their career choices and why.
- Encourage your teen to take a college entrance exam ( SAT or ACT) during the Junior year.
- Remind your young adult that education is a lifelong pursuit.
