History of Grace Christian Schools
Founded by Steve and Barbara Coffman, Grace Christian Schools serves students in the San Diego area as well as in other states and many countries. The school is under the sponsorship of Mission Valley Christian Fellowship of San Diego. The pastor of MVCF is Leo Giovinetti. Leo and Sandra home schooled their children and support parents who desire to teach and train their children at home. Pastor Leo's sermons are available at Mission Valley Christian Fellowship and also can be heard on realliferadio.org.
The school administrator is Skip Joannes. Skip has served as the principal of three different schools in Australia as well as California. He has worked on six continents promoting Christian schools, home schools, and also lecturing on topics such as apologetics, creation/evolution, evangelism, as well as worked with HIV/AIDS victims in Africa. Principal Joannes has two sons and has been married for more than 30 years to Terry, his lovely wife.
