Grace Christian Schools Basic Field Trip Guidelines

Every Field Trip sponsored by Grace Christian Schools is a chance to spread goodwill about Christians and Home School students.

Please read through our guidelines and review them with your children before every field trip. You represent your family, your school, home school students, and Jesus Christ.

Please be responsible for the children that you bring. Remind them to behave so that everyone can enjoy the Field Trip experience.

Do not bring children outside the age range suggested by the Field Trip coordinator. Some Field Trips are not suitable for babies, toddlers or strollers.

Be on time. Plan to arrive at the time suggested so that you will not inconvenience the GCS Field Trip coordinator or reflect badly on GCS with the Field Trip sponsor.

Advise the Field Trip Coordinator as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. There may be a waiting list and a minimum group size.

Please do not bring people who have not signed up for the event. It is not thoughtful to assume that it will be “all right’ with the coordinator.

Please dress modestly with good common sense. Our public appearance should be above reproach and support our reputation as Christians.

Stay with the group. This is a chance for you as the parent to model respect and courtesy toward leadership.

Obey the rules. Only touch by permission.

Be respectful of the rules for group behavior such as waiting for instructions, listening and taking turns.

Learn proper group etiquette. Children should raise their hand and wait to be recognized before speaking.

Be thankful. Children should say thank you to the Field Trip Coordinator and the event host leader.  A handwritten note sent to the Field Trip sponsor is always appropriate.
